Historic Environment Action Plan Project

This website incorporates work from a project to create Historic Environment Action Plans for the Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The project was undertaken by the AONB partnership and funded by English Heritage as a best practice exemplar for other protected landscapes.

The Historic Environment Action Plans built upon the AONB Historic Landscape Characterisation.

The project ran for 2 years between January 2009 and February 2011.
